Happy Holidays - Your Money December 24th 2021
Posted by Steve Bokor
Thank you for taking the time to listen to our weekly CHEK 6 report and my end of week editorial. All things considered, 2021 turned out to be a pretty good year thanks to an accommodative Federal Reserve flooding the monetary system with billions of additional cash. Obviously that cash ended up in the hands of consumers and investors creating what might be considered a bit a of bubble. Too much money chasing too few goods plus too much cash buying too few stocks.
Next week will be very quiet with Canadian markets closed Monday and Tuesday for the traditional holidays however US markets will be open as usual. Then it’s a fade into New Year’s Eve and another 3 day holiday for Canadians.
We hope you all have a safe, healthy, and happy holidays even if our fearless leaders try and throw a wet blanket on the party.
Cheers Steve and Michele.
